“Moremi Air Services (Pty) Ltd, is an air charter company based from Maun in Botswana. The company has been operating since 1997 and has been under new management from June 2003.
They have a fleet of 7 different aircraft suited to regional and international flying – both single and twin engine, as well as turbine aircraft, and operate from Botswana and into Zambia, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

Moremi Air is an air charter company based in Maun with an aircraft continually based out of Kasane. Thus they are enabled to offer easy and cost effective daily transfers between the hubs of Livingstone, The Caprivi, Victoria Falls and Kasane.

Operating from Botswana & into Zambia, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe – they offer guests a complete safari circuit.

TRANSFER TIMES AT GUEST CONVENIENCE

• Camp transfers take place between game activities only
• Camp transfers on charter rates are one-stop away - no multiple landings!
• Transfers off Scheduled airlines are timed so that guests spend the least amount of time at the airport, and the most in camp!

FULL FLIGHT ORIENTATION AND SAFETY BRIEFINGS

• Pilots, using a map of the area, give an informative but brief orientation of where guests are flying to, and the duration of the flight.
• Guests are given a clear safety briefing as the safety of our passengers is paramount.

PILOTS WITH PERSONALITY

• Pilots are chosen first and foremost for their flying skills and safety orientation, but mostly for their personality!
• No "taxi" drivers - pilots are mature and passionate about flying in Africa and love to share their enthusiasm with their passengers
• If guests are "nervous" flyers - pilots will do their utmost to make the journey as pleasant and easy as possible - they are empathetic and want everyone to enjoy flying as much as they do

AIRCRAFT BASED IN KASANE

A pilot and aircraft is based out of Kasane - this allows us to offer you cost effective transfers from Kasane into the camps ,as well as to and from Livingstone and Victoria Falls. This gives you a wider option of International Carriers to use in order to transfer your guests to Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

LIGHT AIRCRAFT TRANSFERS

All flights have specific baggage weight restrictions. For more information please refer to the table below

Essentially there are 2 main choices for light aircraft transfers in Botswana and Livingstone. The first is called "seat rate" and involves buying a seat on a plane from your starting point to your destination. However, this can involve multiple stops with departure and arrival times designed to suit the charter companies. Most guests when they become aware of the alternatives prefer the second option of a direct transfer.

Seat rates are competitive for single passengers travelling but for 2 or more passengers the direct transfer is at least similar in price but is often cheaper.

A private charter has a minimum charge of 600 km per day. The dead legs on all these planes can and will often be used by charter and safari companies in order to move staff and freight.

MOREMI AIR - AIRCRAFT CHOICES IN BOTSWANA & NAMIBIA

A fleet of seven aircraft of varying carrying capacities. Aircraft are maintained in Maun in strict accordance with the Department of Civil Aviation regulations in Botswana, and are serviced every 50 hours with an annual major service or Certificate of Airworthiness.
